ABOUT US
JustHealth® is a Food is Medicine consultancy serving the Washington, DC area. We provide research, program and policy development, and technical assistance to improve health outcomes among individuals, families and communities. Our clients range from government agencies, community-based and national nonprofits, health centers, and start-up and growth stage businesses who seek innovation, systems change, or evidence-based, health-related programming that improves the status quo.
WORKING WITH US
We begin by deeply listening to your needs and developing a scope of services. We’re flexible enough to provide the time-commitment you need to achieve your vision, whether that’s a one-time workshop or strategic planning session, a speaking engagement or research project, or a multi-year program rollout.
Then, we bring together the right expertise to meet your needs, drawing on our deep ties in the health and wellness sector. We immerse ourselves in your vision, and work with you to help you achieve your leadership objectives.
We check-in regularly to solicit feedback, refine work plans, and identify obstacles before they emerge. We excel at facilitating meaningful dialogue that translates vision and goals into action.

WHAT OUR CLIENTS ARE SAYING
“I can’t begin to quantify how much I learned, and the nutritional coaching we received was transformative. Not only have I completely changed life-long habits, allowing me to part with at least half of my wardrobe, but I was able to stop taking three medications because I no longer needed them. Perhaps, my greatest reward was embracing my own inner resolve and capacity for change.”
Kathy Bixby, Advance Practice Nurse & Veteran, MSN, RN
"Trainer is great. Excellent presentation skills.”
Shavaun Ross
DC Metropolitan Police Department, Office of Communications
“Fantastic presentation!
I appreciate the balance between empathetic and direct.”
Elizabeth Roach
Director, U.S. Senate Page Program
"Jill's breadth of knowledge, combined with natural warmth, empathy, and innate listening ability, distinguishes her as an expert in her field and a true joy to work with."
Elisa Merendino, Family-to-Family Instructor, NAMI Montgomery County, MD
“Jill is a phenomenal presenter. I've tried these types of training before with no success. Jill's calming voice and passion for her students helped me truly understand mindfulness training. I didn't want it to end!"
